map of the journey

My tent was dry this morning when I brought it to TwinNeedle in Saxxon St. A few hours later I had patches on my tent where the Kea ripped it. In my mind I overheard a conversation between Sherlock Holmes and Prof Dr Dr Dr van Dusen arguing about the nature of the holes in my tent: Holmes "that man owns a parrot, maybe two..." Van Dusen "that holes were picked from a far more exotic beast, a mountain parrot from New Zealand which can be found in the area between Arthurs Pass and Avalanche Peak"... full details of the dialogue in " Wettbewerb der Detektive".
Christchurch is patching its wounds made by earthquakes in 2010/11 as well. I visited the city centre, Botanical Gardens and the Canterbury Museum.
